The path to membership starts with being a volunteer!

No commitment is needed. You can engage in our activities and commit when you are ready. 

Now that you are sure you want to become a member, you will need to:

1. Be an active volunteer in any one of our projects/activities, with a 50% activity rate
2. Qualified for an entry level badge
3. Submit an Application for Membership form, and 
4. Be able to recite the mission, vision, creed and pledge.

Now that you are a member in good standing, you can begin to move up the hierarchy.  A Green Ambassadeur is the first tier after membership. This is a member in good standing, with a 60% activity rate in any ONE of our projects/activities, who has qualified for a bronze badge through his/her community engagement activity and has taken the plastic-free pledge. 

This is a Green Ambassadeur in good standing, who is actively engaged in any TWO of our projects/activities with a 60% activity rate, qualifies for a silver badge through mentorship efforts, and takes the ocean restoration pledge.  

Saving the ocean one act at a time

This is an Ocean Ambassadeur in good standing, who is actively engaged in any THREE of our projects/activities with an 70% activity rate, qualifies for a gold badge through policy efforts, takes the earth restoration pledge and attains at least 70% on the earth-based environmental leadership quiz.
