How to start the programme at a school

The Junior Ambassadeurs Programme

Get the children involved!!!

The Junior Ambassadeurs Programme is designed for primary and prep school children. Our activities focus on the natural environment and provide an opportunity for students to change the future of their society by how they view and treat the planet and its resources.

Schools/organisations do not need to start a new 'club' if they already have one that can be chartered. For example, if the school already has a service club, an environment club or a science club, our activities can be incorporated into the club's programme.

The education system provides an enabling environment for the transfer of knowledge and the influencing of current and future behaviour. We believe it is important to teach our children to be good environmental stewards and our schools and their children can play an active role in protecting and improving the environment. That is why we train them to ensure that the next generation is prepared to take care of this planet. Engaging children early creates a direct impact on their behaviour and attitudes, as well as that of their parents, relatives and families.  By changing their outlook, they change their behaviour, and by extention, their homes, schools and communities.

Students learn about the environment and how to take care of the planet. The programme is built around our 7 Rs which teach them to RETHINK their relationship with the environment and with the products that we use, REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE, RECYLE and REFLECT as they help to protect the earth. They learn how to think critically, and how to use data to inform solutions.

The programme uses citizens science to establish baseline and timeline data as they examine practical solutions to the questions:

  • How do we use less ?
  • What are the available alternatives?
  • How can we do this at home?

The programme is designed and available to all interested primary and prep schools. The content is made available electronically, FREE OF CHARGE.  Schools  are provided with the accompanying slides and teachers and/or coordinators can participate 'live' on our YouTube, Instagram, and/or Facebook platforms or they can use the uploaded videos on our YouTube channel at their own convenience.

Children are the back bone of the nation and are incredible agents of change!

I want to volunteer
